    Event Description:
    We're delighted to offer an Introduction to Working Equitation Clinic & Schooling Show taking place as part of the 2017 Sport & Trail Games, hosted by We Ride Sport & Trail Magazine and Mora Ranch in Mora, Missouri.

    Your clinician for the weekend will be Julie Alonzo, President and Founder of WE United. Julie has attended four, five-day intensive judge seminars taught by International Judges and has ridden with a variety of international WE competitors and trainers. She and her home-bred mare were #1 in the 2016 National Standings for horse/rider pair at the Novice Level and have been competing at the Intermediate level in 2017. Julie has provided working equitation clinics in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nebraska, Utah, Illinois, Michigan, and Florida as well as both British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.

    Cost to participate:

    Lecture: $10 for WE United Members; $25 for people who are not members of WE United
    Includes a 90 minute slideshow with videos providing in-depth information about what judges are looking for when they are judging Working Equitation, with a particular emphasis on the obstacle section called Ease of Handling.

    One-Day Clinic:
    Rider costs: $50 for WE United Members; $75 for people who are not members of WE United
    Auditor costs: Free for WE United Members; $25 for people who are not members of WE United

    Includes both a 60-minute group lecture / on-foot instruction and a 20-minute individual lesson on the dressage trial, and a 90-minute small-group mounted lesson on the obstacles.

    One-Day Schooling Show: $50 for WE United Members; $75 for people who are not members of WE United no charge for spectators
    Includes Dressage, Ease of Handling, and Speed Trials. Each participant will receive written scorecards, with comments to provide guidance for future improvement. The schooling show will be limited to a maximum of 15 riders. Sign up early to secure a spot!
