    Name: Medieval Military Horsemanship Workshop
    Date: June 24, 2017 - June 25, 2017
    Event Description:
Looking for a new challenge for you and your equine partner? Here is your chance to learn the skills of mounted warrior and to put your horse to the challenges of the warhorses of old.

Two full days of training and practices with the weapons of war of the medieval world, sword, lance, javelin, hunting spear, bow.

Instruction on day one will focus on some of the classical dressage techniques I use to prepare a horse for challenges of a warhorse and a introduction to the weapons. It will consist of a demonstration of concept followed by individual instruction tailored to each horse and rider pair, with the rest observing.

Day two will be group instruction on individual weapons, with the riders taking turns practicing these skills.

    Limited to 8 riders

Costs are $100 per rider and $25 for an auditor (audit fee can be waived in exchange for some volunteer time as ground crew.)

To sign up one only has to tell me they wish two and pay at least half the fee. This can be done my mail or PayPal payable to troy@troygriffith.com.

The deposit reserves you spot and can be paid anytime until all 8 spots are fill. My last clinic filled up in about a week, while the one that preceded it wasn't full the day of.

Note: Parking space is limited, so first priority will be given to truck and trailers, so auditing space may be limited.
