Marketing has changed significantly in just the last five years, because your audiences have so many more choices today. Learn the importance of building a brand that rises above the chaos. Discover how to be found, how to stand out and how to gain more business with the right marketing strategy.  These 5 questions get to the heart of effective marketing by first determining how your potential clients or customers are looking for what you offer, then defining who they are and what they expect. Choose the best way to reach them in today's digital marketing landscape. What do audiences need to know to choose you? How do you ensure your business is found? Why is a brand important? And why should your website be at the heart of your marketing? You'll see examples, have a chance to ask questions and leave with a worksheet to help you refine your marketing and brand.

SOCIAL MEDIA | IT'S FREE, BUT IT'S NOT CHEAP
In this session on social media, Jennifer covers the basics of the most used platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram. Which are most popular and which might be right for you? It's free, but do you have the resources to get results (time, pictures, campaigns)? You'll discover how to choose the platform that's right for you and your audiences, then how to be effective with posts, images and campaigns. What works in social media and what doesn't? Should you invest the time needed to have an impact? Is social media right for you and your business, or should you focus on your website first? Should you use a social media manager platform like HootSuite? What about Facebook advertising and promoted posts? Bring your questions and ideas, there will be time for discussion after the presentation. It's an ever-changing landscape.
